Q: Is it natural stone?
A: Yes, all pieces are made from natural stone，hand – finished with rough or cut edge. Our slates are unique in shape, texture, colour, which means no two pieces will be same.
Q: Is slate fragile? Will it break if I drop it?
A: Hardness similar to porcelain or glass. A regular 5- -6mm slate board can handle having dozens of times its own weight on top of it.
That’s why we can cut it so thin and will not break easily. But it is likely to break if hit sharply by something hard or dropped on a hard surface. If you treat it like your kitchen dish or glass, it will be perfectly fine.
